Top 3 ways to get unstuck fast

Here are my top 3 tips to help you get unstuck and back on track fast.

1. Listen to audiobooks that make you feel good, motivated and inspired 
Audiobooks are great because you can listen when you’re at the gym, on a run, in the car or just hanging out in your room. When I feel stuck, my energy is pretty low and it’s hard to sit down and read a paperback. The two audiobooks I recommend when you’re feeling stuck are You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero or The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein.

2. Put your phone on airplane mode and get outside and embrace nature
Chances are you’re feeling stuck because you’re stressed out and overstimulated.
Is your phone constantly going off with text messages, group chats, emails and notifications? Turn it on airplane mode or leave it at home so you’re not tempted to check it and go outside. Nature works wonders on your mood, creativity and can help you reduce stress. You don’t need to immerse yourself in a forest or the ocean to experience the benefits of nature, just get outside and go for a little walk.

3. Create a mantra and repeat it daily
Your thoughts create your reality. Create a mantra that represents the reality you want to manifest for yourself.

Instead of “I’m stressed” try “I am calm.”
Instead of  “I’m not creative” try “I am creative.”
Instead of  “I feel stuck” try “I am free.”

Say it, write it, feel it and watch yourself get unstuck and back on track.

Lastly, I just want to say that these three things, let’s say four things and include meditation, REALLY WORK. Yesterday I felt terrible, I think I was just having an off day - I felt stuck. Right before bed, I pulled up an old email I sent out to people about "Getting unstuck fast.” When I feel stuck it’s hard to remember what to do to get unstuck! Ya know the feeling? So I searched for that email and read it before bed. I thought why didn’t I publish this email as a blog instead so that more people can see it?! So that’s why I’m publishing my top three tips here as well.

This morning, I listened to two yoga nidra meditations, I went for a walk, instead of an audiobook I listened to a Gary Vaynerchuck podcast about confidence and as soon as I publish this blog I’m going to go write down some mantras and things I’m grateful for. I feel a million times better already. If you feel lost, confused, slow, unproductive, you’re comparing yourself to others and you basically just feel STUCK, try meditating, try listening to an audiobook or podcast, go for a walk and write down a mantra. Yes, this might sound simple, but I promise you it works. Remember, we all feel stuck, lost and confused some days. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be right now and everything will be ok. Give yourself a hug and remember you’re doing the best you can with what you’ve got, we all are.
